7/17 ~At 1650, in 100 degree temps, Westminster Fire Department was alerted to a confirmed structure fire at 8201 Auburn Lane.  Battalion 1 arrived on scene to find a single family dwelling with heavy smoke from all sides.  A 2nd alarm was struck and mutual aid from Southwest Adams County Fire responded.  Crews entered the structure and encountered heavy heat.  After a brief search the fire was located in a downstairs back bedroom, quickly knocked and contained to the one room.  The house suffered heavy smoke damage and no injuries were reported.  Mike Melton Photos
